Kids Personal Training
As you may expect, we approach kids training programs very differently to adult training.
We have a fully equipped private gym suitable for kids and an age appropriate fort/playground for the younger ones. If you like, we can also encourage you to take advantage of the treadmill or spin bicycle while we train your child.
Why Kids Personal Training?
As a general rule, we know kids should be involved in approx 3 hours a day of active physical activity, including 60 minutes of adult led activity. As a child is developing it is vital for adults to help them develop skills like running, jumping, climbing, hopping and balancing.
This all helps in the development of core strength, bone density and many other known benefits such as releasing happy brain chemicals like endorphins and serotonin and setting kids up with good healthy habits in life.
Individual Needs
Every child is different, has individual needs and will develop at a different rate. We can work with your child’s health professionals (Pediatricians, Occupational Therapists etc.) to ensure the best outcomes for your child’s development.
Ages
We have worked with kids as young as 3 and as kids are always learning and developing, it is never too late to start!
As your child gets older we will adapt and change their training to their individual needs.
